COMPLIANCE COMMITTEE

Objectives:

1. Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA, Accountants Act and LIA regulations

2. Compliance with other promulgations binding to members of LIA and LIA.

Specific Terms of Reference

1. To create awareness among members of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.

2. To identify appropriate CPD needs of the members.

3. To oversee the implementation of the CPD events program.

4. To evaluate and approve CPD returns.

5. To monitor the extent of compliance by LIA and its members in relation to:

   1. Statements of Membership Obligations (SMOs).

   2. Relevant statutes and other fundamental agreements between LIA and other Stakeholders.
