The Lesotho Institute of Accountants will be hosting a three-day
seminar on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),
International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and International
Financial Reporting Standards for Small, Medium Enterprises to
be held on the 25th-27th November 2009 at Lehakoe Recreational
Centre, Maseru.
This seminar will cover the update on the IFRSs and current
changes therewith, IFRSs for Small Medium Enterprises which is
the newly published IFRS that is about to be implemented and
ISAs. It will be a practical based seminar to address the
practical application of IFRSs and ISAs by all accountants in
practice and not in practice, private sector accountants, as
well as public sector accountants. The auditors both internal
and external will equally benefit as a result.
