Ethical Behaviour(Course content)
Accountants occupy a position of trust as they handle sensitive information of their clients, employers and society at large in their various roles. Ethical behaviour is therefore important to enhance confidence to all those who rely and make decisions based on their reports. It is important that they understand how they are expected to behave so they are not only ethical but are also seen to be ethical at all times. In this short training, we unpack the fundamental principles of ethical conduct with a focus on how personal and organisational ethics can also influence the conduct of an individual. We also highlight with specific real life examples the impacts of unethical behaviour and most importantly how to resolve an ethical dilemma.
